Gabriela from Germany took me on a trip to the island of Rugen in the Baltic Sea to visit the beautiful Granite Castle.

Obsesia are un gust familiar. Ceva ce ?tii de o via??. Se instaleaz? ?i st? la pând?, r?mâne cu tine. O emo?ie care ar trebui legat? ?i aruncat? la gunoi, înlocuit? cu gânduri mai serioase, mai pu?in dureroase, mai pure…”

Beautiful view of the Baiyun Mountain received from Li Hong.
Baiyun Mountain (known locally as White Clouds Mountain) is the nearest mountain resort that makes it a pleasant half-day trip away from the city. It is located about six kilometers from the city, which has refreshingly lush and green surroundings.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a clear and better picture with all the sun coming uninvited into my house.
My second traded card is from Donostia San Sebastian in Basque Country, Spain from Dani. You can enjoy a nocturnal view of the Concha beach.

Vlad said that one thing I can’t probably give up to is trading postcards. And he was right alright. Every single week I have to send at least 2 cards and receive others back. It’s so much fun that has became a little addictive.
So last week, besides the usual postcrossing project, I traded 3 cards.
First one to arrive is this beautiful Mosque of Ubudiah in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, Malaysia courtesy of Shurbani Abdul Talib and his daughter Alia. I just wanted a postcard with a mosque from all those available cards he had because these were looking fantastic. He picked the one above for me as it is the most requested in his tradings.
And now I can see why everyone loves it. The colors, the architecture and the whole setting makes me think this is surreal, I can not imagine such a great place for regaining peace and serenity.
Many thanks for such a collection piece.

Melanie brightened my day with a huge beautiful postcard from Dusseldorf. She wrote the entire card in german so today I exercised a little my reading and comprehension.
